ABOUT ME
My name is Toya Aubert, I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the states of Washington and South Carolina. I earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Phoenix in Human Services/Management, a Master of Arts from Capella University in Nonprofit Management and Leadership, and a Master of Arts degree from Northwest University in Kirkland, WA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am also retired from the United States Air Force after 22 years of service. I am committed to my profession and continuing my education. Many have described me as a beam of light. Easy to talk to. Warm, Funny. Transparent.

MISSION
While we cannot change the past, we can work together to resolve challenges and provide healing. By applying therapy approaches and interventions, we can discover long-standing behavior patterns and negative perceptions that can hinder your individual success and quality of life.
I utilize Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and other solution-focused, evidence-based modalities for the treatment of Trauma, PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, and challenging life transitions. Where I differ is I use my experiences, compassion, transparency, and core values to help you achieve healthy, lasting, sustainable goals that you will be proud of. If a faith-based approach is more of what you are looking for I am a certified Christian Counselor and Life Coach. My sincere desire is to help you uncover your potential so you can lead a life of joy and peace.
SERVICES & FEES
ONLINE SERVICES:
I offer therapy via telehealth. Teletherapy allows for the benefits of traditional therapy but from wherever you happen to be. We will meet in a secure, virtual office using your phone, computer, or tablet.
FEES:
I offer complimentary 15-minute consultation. Specific pricing for sessions will be discussed during this consultation. I have a limited number of reduced fee (sliding scale) sessions available on a case by case basis.
Insurance: I accept certain insurances. Please inquire.
Pay by: Cash, Check, American Express, Mastercard, Visa. Payments due at time of service.
POLICIES
CONFIDENTIALITY:
All clients are assured of confidentiality. The law protects the relationship between a client and therapist, and information cannot be disclosed without written permission. Only a release of information signed by you may authorize me to discuss any information with other individuals. This agreement may be revoked by you at any time.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Therapy sessions are by appointment only. Because appointment times are reserved just for you, it is necessary to charge a $75.00 fee for missed appointments that are not canceled at least 24 hours in advance. I understand life happens, please communicate with me about your scheduled appointments otherwise, you will be charged the full fee of your session for non-canceled/missed appointments. Multiple missed appointments may result in discharge from services.
